Referral-fee policy

20% of Allyn PC's contingency fee

Allyn PC pays 20% of its contingency fee to a referring attorney on accepted matters. The arrangement is documented in the attorney-client agreement and requires the client's written consent.

One focused property-claim practice

Referrals can involve fire, smoke, water, storm, theft, building, contents, additional living expense, valuation, EUO, SIU, appraisal, denial, underpayment, and litigation issues.

When to refer a property-insurance matter

A direct referral process

  1. Contact Benjamin Allyn with a brief description of the claim and any known deadline.
  2. Allyn PC completes a conflicts review and evaluates the policy, facts, evidence, and economics.
  3. If the matter is accepted, the client signs the engagement agreement and written referral terms.
  4. The referring attorney remains informed as appropriate and receives the agreed referral fee from Allyn PC's contingency fee.
Professional responsibility: Every referral arrangement remains subject to applicable ethical rules, client consent, the written agreement, and the circumstances of the matter. This page is a general description, not a binding fee agreement.
